BUT, I will keep doing them as long as I can. God granted me the ability to be an EMT and now I want to help people spiritually too.

Comment by Bruce Zingler on November 2, 2009 at 3:12pm: I've been an EMT-B for 5 years in a rural Minnesota Squad. 3 years ago I was diagnosed with right side Parkinson's. I still do most things other than holding victims heads in tramas and that sort of thing. There is still alot I can do . Best thing is Parkinson's has affected my hand writing so NO MORE RUN SHEETS TO FILL OUT!!!!! I plan on staying on as an EMT as long as possible because I don't believe I can let Parkinson's get me down and out and I can contribute to my squad one way or another. When patient care becomes involved so I am a hazzard to help, I will quietly step down.
