About Me
Man alive ... that's tough. I guess I'm a husband, dad, friend, cold beer drinker, paramedic, computer geek ... the list can go on.

Professionally, I oversee the Praetorian Group’s online EMS initiatives, including EMS1 and its sub-sites, including EMSConnect, ParamedicTV, Paramedic.com and EMSGrantsHelp.com. I supervises all aspects of daily site operations, with an additional focus on company-wide online growth initiatives and internet collaborative functionality.

During the course of 15 years in both rural and urban fire and EMS settings, I have worked as a street paramedic, field training officer, and Operations Manager. I enhanced technology communications between field EMS providers and Emergency Departments, have provided expert content review of EMS/fire training materials, and have designed and maintained distance learning and delivery programs for EMS services. l frequently lectures on EMS issues; specifically in the realm of technology, distance education and electronic communications.

EMS1 Announces EXCELLENCE IN EMS essay contest winner!

EMS1 invited all EMS providers from across the nation to submit a short, original story for the second annual Excellence in EMS Award contest.

A panel of industry judges, including EMS1 columnists Mike McEvoy and Kelly Grayson, chose the best stories and the winner came away with an award and a $200 gift card.

Of the many excellent submissions, 11 stories have been featured to exemplify this year's EMS Week theme, "A Proud Partner in Your Community." These stories show how you've partnered or… Continue

Hey Kris Thanks for your attention to this matter, I have tried to forward the e-mail from Claire, but have been having some difficulty, probably just my ineptitude. I will try until it goes through or I give up. I hope she is legit. I have been getting a lot of "friend" requests on Facebook with similar profiles. You know, pretty girl wants to be your friend, but, doesn't post any personal info about herself. I suspect it's spam, hope I'm wrong!

Thanks for allowing me to join EMSconnect. This is a cool way to interact and communicate with our own kind and share stories, pics, etc. I added two pics of the cool rescue ship I fly on so check it out. I have many friends that have joined and this is a great thing you are doing here. Keep up the good work! Talk to ya later. Dave

Hi Kris
I'm new here, I'm not sure how I found this site but anyway...
I'm was certified as an EMT-B this past December and started as a first responder a year ago. I've had the urge to be in the EMS field for a very long time and my plans are to become a paramedic.
I'm in New Jersey and running into dead ends as far as schools, info, etc.
Since you're a seasoned paramedic and involved in so much I'm wondering if you can lead me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance!
Lauri
