About Me
A dream can be defined as hope’s image and reality as a state of being real. It is often said the difference between the two is ones desire to persevere when faced with the utmost perils.

On January 12, 1994, Palmetto Ambulance Service was a dream that became reality. Three original owners having worked in the EMS field for many years possessed a desired to create a service that was different from any other EMS system. A service where compassion meant something, not just words spoken but illustrated through every life touched during transport; a service where professionalism is a key corner stone to all those served; and a service where technology and education merge to provide the most optimal care.
Since our first transport in Aiken, S.C. on January 12, 1994, Palmetto Ambulance Service has met the needs of over 500,000 patients throughout the Midlands. As one of the largest private providers in the State of South Carolina, Palmetto maintains the highest standards for others in the industry to follow.
We provide Emergency and Non-Emergency pre-hospital medical care and transportation services 24 hours/day, 365 days/year. Ground and air transportation are provided throughout the United States and can be arranged through our dispatch center
Our highly trained professional staff is a key ingredient to the success we have experienced through the years and each patient is treated as if he/she were our very own family member. The measure of our success is definitely in every transport performed!

Vision

To be the premier provider of healthcare transportation services in South Carolina.

Mission

To be a leading edge provider of healthcare transportation services, thereby setting the standards for others to follow, by:

Well BIGGEST Losers,

Are you sore? If not, get off that couch and walk! It’s time to get healthy! Tonight should have been the first night of the boot camp at the gym. Just think we actually pay these people to cause us pain! Monday night at the Omni in Augusta, Ga. they were dishing out soreness like the Pope passes out blessings or Tiger seeks mistresses. There wasn’t a participant not encouraging each other, it was TEAMWORK at its finest and I thank you! Who knew the shuttle was going to K… Continue

It's a pleasure to become your friend! As a friend I promptly ask you a favour. Could you help me in becoming an EMT -B? I am evaluating to come to USA to work and live and become in a future a Paramedic.
All advices are appreciated.

Thanks Lorenzo
