- I am from NYC i got my EMT basic while in the ARMY as a medic i got my NYS EMT card and worked there as a Basic for 3 yr from 90 to 93 i know live in NC and after years of driving trucks i got back into the rescue field i am now a EMT-I in school for my paramedic as well as firefighter and rescue training
