Fire-EMS responds to MCI shooting at Texas fort

According to reports, at least seven people are dead and another dozen wounded in a shooting at the U.S. Army's Fort Hood. The military installation, home of the 1st Cavalry Division and the First Army Division West, is located outside Killeen. Nearby schools have been put on soft lockdown, authorities told an Austin TV station.

CNN has reported that up to 15 people have been wounded in the attack.

"It was unknown whether victims are soldiers or civilians. One gunman was reportedly in custody and another was on the loose," according to a report from NBC News.
